CONTRACT Data Privacy Analyst

TruLegal is a well-known global energy company seeking a highly experienced Contract Privacy Analyst to support its privacy team during a temporary leave coverage. This role will focus on marketing and consumer privacy, providing practical guidance and supporting privacy assessments across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Strong foundation in data protection and privacy law, with practical experience applying legal requirements to business activities
Meaningful experience supporting marketing and consumer privacy, including consumer-facing privacy, privacy notices, consents/cookies, DSARs, and marketing-related privacy considerations
Experience conducting and supporting privacy assessments (e.g., DPIAs, ROPAs, or similar), reviewing data use cases (including marketing-related use), and translating legal requirements into practical guidance for the business
Experience working across multiple jurisdictions (not limited to U.S. privacy only) and understanding how different privacy laws impact business processes
Ability to think strategically, work independently, and manage privacy issues with minimal day-to-day supervision
Comfortable partnering with business stakeholders and providing clear, pragmatic privacy guidance
Familiarity with privacy program operations (e.g., privacy intake workflows, or privacy tooling such as OneTrust or similar platforms)
