Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for national and strategic accounts during extended coverage hours, ensuring uninterrupted service and communication
Manage and grow assigned customer accounts by identifying opportunities to expand lanes, services, and specialized freight solutions
Collaborate closely with daytime account managers, operations, and leadership to maintain consistent account strategies and service standards
Monitor active shipments, anticipate potential service issues, and proactively communicate updates and resolutions to customers
Conduct performance check-ins and support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with national customers
Negotiate spot and contractual rates while maintaining margin and service expectations
Track account performance, revenue growth, and customer activity in CRM and internal systems
Support onboarding and implementation of new national accounts, ensuring smooth operational handoff
Represent Fox Logistics professionally in customer calls, virtual meetings, and site visits as needed
Stay informed on market trends, capacity shifts, and customer supply chain needs to provide strategic insight and solutions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain account management, brokerage, or sales
Strong understanding of flatbed, specialized, or national transportation operations preferred
Proven ability to manage enterprise or high-volume customer relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in time-sensitive situations
Ability to work independently during extended coverage hours while maintaining team collaboration
Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Willingness to work flexible or extended hours as part of a national coverage schedule
