Select Medical is seeking an Assistant Recruiter to support their hospital recruitment teams on a temporary basis. This role involves partnering with various recruiters to source candidates, coordinate interviews, and enhance the candidate experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with Specialty, Regional, Market, and Clinical Recruiters to support sourcing, candidate follow‑up, recruitment marketing, and ATS (iCIMS) maintenance

Identify, source, and screen candidates for open roles using job boards, social media, internet sourcing, and referrals

Coordinate and schedule interviews, interview days, and screening calls

Communicate with candidates via phone, text, and email to ensure timely follow‑up and scheduling

Assist in posting jobs and maintaining accurate candidate and requisition information

Participate in hiring events and career fairs (travel may be required)

Provide coverage and recruitment support for high‑priority markets or recruiters who are out of the office

Maintain and update recruitment resources and documentation quarterly

Promote an “Employer of Choice” culture through professional and engaging candidate interactions

Ensure a consistently positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Required

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail

Ability to influence and drive results in a matrixed environment with diverse stakeholders

Willingness to learn the duties and competencies of a wide range of roles

Sense of urgency, adaptability, and strong prioritization skills
