Responsibilities
Apply deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design to drive technical excellence
Conduct and lead design reviews and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
Plan, manage, and deliver complex mobile software projects from inception to deployment
Define and implement mobile app strategies, including technology selection and architecture
Collaborate cross-functionally with development, data engineering, and quality assurance teams to align mobile app initiatives with Lucid’s business goals
Establish and refine engineering processes, promote best practices, and drive team growth and effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated proficiency in latest software development principles, capabilities and limitations of iOS/Android platform
Expert in Swift and SwiftUI or Kotlin with a solid understanding of modern design patterns
Experience with iOS or Android Frameworks
Proficient in iOS or Android development tools – Xcode, GIT, LLDB, Android studio and others
Familiarity with Push Notifications, backend APIs, and cloud messaging
Experience with unit testing
Experience with using Agile/Scrum methodology for software development
Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and system design
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent) and cloud-native architectures
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud monitoring, and observability tools
8+ years of industry experience
Lead and mentor a dynamic team, including potential offshore developers
Proven experience leading software engineering teams and managing large-scale cloud projects
Ability to set technical direction, mentor engineers, and enforce high engineering standards
Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to drive software development processes and guide teams toward successful delivery
Preferred
Deep knowledge of Bluetooth LE, NFC, or UWB
