Responsibilities
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for new hires and departing employees
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and other firm systems
Administer leave requests for Business Operations team ensuring coverage and compliance
Coordinate logistics for firm meetings and events, including catering and invitations
Reconcile monthly credit card expenses in expense management system for firm accounts
Support HR projects, process improvements, and compliance initiatives, including document management in document management system
Assist with candidate scheduling and onsite interview logistics
Prepare annual benefits mailings and assist with compliance audits
Maintain accurate benefits documentation and vendor account management
Verify timesheets in HRIS and assist with payroll processing; serve as backup during absences
Provide occasional backup coverage for the reception desk
Qualification
Required
3 - 5 years of HR experience, including benefits and payroll support
Experience with HRIS systems required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred; benefits-focused credentials a plus
Paylocity experience strongly preferred; Workday familiarity a plus
Law firm experience is a plus
