Responsibilities
Collaboratively define, refine, scope, and architect proposed functionality. If you aren't comfortable with startup-style requirements and some grey, this is not the place for you
Develop new functionality and maintain feature alignment with the mobile apps
Manage the end-to-end app lifecycle, including testing, release management, and monitoring
Build technical prototypes and R&D with emerging technologies
Help establish the culture and conventions of the development practice
Train and mentor others as the team scales
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of full-stack web development
Ideally, expertise in the Ruby on Rails ecosystem; this is no SPA
A track record of architecting, extending, launching, and maintaining apps in widespread use
Strong initiative, comfort with ambiguity, and openness to feedback
Experience or interest in serving a diverse user base
Passion
Preferred
Experience with mobile, data engineering, machine learning, or 3D graphics is a plus but not required
