Responsibilities
Systems Programming - Configure and program IP-based security systems, including CCTV/Cameras, Access Control, and Burglar Alarms
Remote Field Support - Act as the primary point of contact for field technicians to assist with complex on-site configuration, troubleshooting, and device commissioning
Escalation Management - Utilize manufacturer tech support to navigate and resolve "deep-level" hardware or software issues
Network Oversight - Implement and manage network topologies specifically for VOIP and Security traffic (VLANs, PoE management, Port Forwarding)
Continuous Improvement - Proactively learn and implement new technologies, moving toward full network design and system administration tasks
Qualification
Required
Programming Experience - Proven experience configuring security platforms (cameras, access control, alarms)
Networking Knowledge - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, and wireless infrastructure
Troubleshooting - A 'detective' mindset with the ability to solve problems under pressure
Field Experience - Previous hands-on experience in the field (cabling, mounting, or installing) is highly preferred, as it helps you better support the techs
Communication - Ability to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical clients and field staff

Networking - Ubiquiti (UniFi/UISP), Fortigate, Sophos, and Sonic Wall product lines
Communication - 3CX, VOIP systems, and various Intercom/Paging Software
