PLC Technician
Staff Force Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Panel Assembler/Technician to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels. The role includes responsibilities such as cutting and labeling wires, loading PLC/HMI programs, and ensuring compliance with UL508A standards.

Responsibilities
Cut, terminate, and label wires based on work instructions
Cut wireway, covers, and DIN rail to required lengths
Create wire and component labels
Assemble small parts
Complete all traveler/work order paperwork
Ensure quality standards are met and report issues
Follow UL508A requirements
Apply power (1PH & 3PH) for testing shorts or miswiring
Load programs into PLCs and HMIs
Configure components per schematics and spec sheets
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspace
Support continuous improvement efforts
Perform other related duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Ability to read electrical schematics; UL508A knowledge required
Strong attention to detail and safety-minded
Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuitry
Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and instrumentation
Experience with Rockwell, Eaton, Schneider, and IDEC PLCs/software
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certificate a plus
Minimum 3 years of electrical technician experience with PLCs, drives, and control panels
