Account Manager, Inside Sales, Reproductive Health

QIAGEN is dedicated to revolutionizing science and healthcare. The Account Manager (Inside Sales) will be responsible for selling QIAGEN's Reproductive Health portfolio, managing a sales territory, closing new accounts, and developing strategic business plans to achieve sales quotas.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships, educate and sell our leading reproductive health test to clinicians and hospital staff by phone and email
Work within assigned territory to develop a strategic business plan to best meet goals; quarterly forecasting your territory
Penetrate healthcare systems and negotiate high level contracts with healthcare systems
Learn how to manage a sales funnel, including: Prospecting, Qualifying Leads, Covering Base Accounts and Closing New Account
Quarterly travel to regional and national conferences, as well as customer visits (up to 10%)
Collaborate across your territory with colleagues to close contracts and work overall strategy; Act as an internal liaison with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services to drive the overall success of the reproductive health business

Required

Bachelor's degree: Preferably in Business, Engineering, Science, or a Related Field
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, think/work creatively and independently
Outstanding verbal skills, especially the ability to establish complex & high-level rapport with medical professionals
Can handle making multiple phone calls to meet a quota throughout the day while completing other territory tasks
Self-motivated: with the ability to work independently while under guidance of manager
Up for the challenge of meeting and exceeding a sales quota
Excited about the QIAGEN portfolio and utilizing it to enhance customer experiences
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Excel skills a plus
Location - Remote position (Can be based anywhere in the US but ideally in Illinois)
