Responsibilities
Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, supporting them and reinforcing literacy instruction delivered by Reading Specialists
Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and reach their weekly academic milestones
Guiding emotional self-regulation, persistence, and critical thinking through consistent routines and positive relationships
Monitoring individual student development and needs, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
Building a classroom environment that balances structure, joy, and individualized attention
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our campus in San Francisco, CA or Miami, FL
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
3+ years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching, or comparable roles
Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of captivating and maintaining attention of young learners in group settings
Capacity to maintain high expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their objectives
Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
