Responsibilities
Developing and upskilling Guides to facilitate Alpha's workshops at an exceptional standard
Authoring comprehensive Guide Playbooks that capture facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning experiences, and strategies for overcoming obstacles
Delivering consistent, targeted feedback to Guides that drives higher student engagement and academic outcomes
Personally coaching a select group of students, demonstrating advanced mentorship and motivational techniques
Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort experiences joy in school, achieves learning at 2× velocity, and gains essential life competencies. No exceptions
Qualification
Required
Currently residing in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus (Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or CA: East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles)
Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field
Proven track record of designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions
Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities with demonstrated success in building, guiding, and energizing high-performing teams
Background working with children and adolescents (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
Strong analytical capabilities and experience leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement
Legal authorization to work in the United States
