Responsibilities
Develop secure, resilient, reliable, maintainable, scalable, and observable client/server web applications using modern frameworks
Write automated unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Revise, update, refactor, and debug existing code
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and receiving feedback from peers
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to design and implement dynamic features that improve site engagement and traffic
Stay up to date with industry terminology, concepts, and best practices in web development
Provide technical support, identify issues, and communicate resolutions to the team
Occasionally work weekends/nights for maintenance and support activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent education and experience in software development
2-5 years of demonstrated experience as a software developer, including client/server web applications
Strong experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, and preferably Vue
Experience with using git for version control
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Understanding of SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
Ability to work quickly, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment with a focus on delivering high-quality work
A curious drive with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Disciplined, dynamic, and flexible approach to work
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, assignments, and prioritize to meet deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal and customer management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to work extended hours as required
Preferred
Experience with Drupal CMS and hosting on Acquia
Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools is a plus
Familiar with Agile methodologies and work item tracking systems such as Jira or Azure DevOps
