Production Assembly Operator

Responsibilities

Perform assembly, modification, and checkout of ordnance weapon systems
Works with various computer systems and applications
Willing to work with explosive items
Ability to operate pneumatic and manual tools
Report problems to management and support staff to assist in the continuance of manufacturing operations
Participates in required production meetings and completes required training
Follow all documented processes, procedures, and work instructions

Qualification

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
Experience with either assembly, manufacturing, or operations
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience in assembly or related field
Experience to operate forklift, walker stacker, pallet jack, and other equipment normally associated with loading and unloading trucks
DoD SECRET or higher security clearance
Forklift Operator Certification
