Vice President Sales - Agtech + Grain
One Degree Agriculture is a leading AgTech company focused on improving grain marketing and risk management. They are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth and establish long-term commercial partnerships across North America, initially managing sales personally and later shaping the go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities
Personally lead all new business development cross North America, owning the full sales cycle from discovery through close
Build pipeline through relationships, referrals, and network-driven entry points
Qualify opportunities for long-term fit
Lead discovery conversations around grain workflows, basis, futures, hedging, and risk management
Identify margin and workflow challenges
Clearly communicate where Contango fits and where it does not
Sell with honesty and transparency
Ensure smooth handoff to Customer Success and stay engaged post-sale
Provide feedback on messaging, pricing, and market fit
Share customer insights with product and leadership teams
Represent the company with credibility at customer meetings and industry events
Qualification
Required
8-10+ years of experience in Grain Merchandising, Origination, futures brokerage, and/or cash grain brokerage
Strong understanding of grain markets, basis, futures, hedging, and risk management
Clear understanding of how elevators, processors, and merchandisers operate
Existing industry credibility and relationships
High integrity, low ego, and strong judgment
Service-oriented, consultative sales mindset
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving environment
