Responsibilities
Review and analyze, the Americas Equity derivatives risks for the identification, analysis and control of the market risk exposures. Create transparency for stakeholders through the preparation and provision of meaningful and timely risk information and relevant advice
Undertake portfolio analyses of the market risks, perform risk assessments and approve transactions within the delegated market risk authority and in accordance with internal policies and regulations
Work alongside the business, as the 2nd line of defense, to independently identify and escalate issues and concerns. Enhance the risk control framework and participate in corresponding projects to accommodate product innovation and regulatory developments
Review the appropriateness of limit frameworks and related controls. Maintain a climate of openness, transparency and accountability in the team
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as an Equities Market Risk Manager, or a related occupation
Experience with market risk management of equity products
Experience with equity products, including strategies, business knowledge and their associated risks
Experience with VBA
Experience with SQL
Experience with equity derivatives and quantitative investment strategies products
Experience with target stress design and analysis for equity products
Experience with analysis of risk management framework for equity derivative and quantitative investment strategies products
Experience with regulatory and audit market risk management analysis
Experience with equity derivatives and quantitative investment strategies Pnl commentary analysis
Experience with analysis of equity derivative and quantitative investment strategies Greek risks
