The Clinical Research Postdoctoral Fellowship at McLean Hospital provides advanced clinical training and research experience, focusing on both clinical activities with patients and research contributions within the Behavioral Health Partial Hospital program.

Responsibilities
The fellow will have 2.5 days per week dedicated to research activities
This includes contributing to the management of the BHP's routine outcome monitoring program, participation in BHP research meetings, mentoring trainees in research projects, and engaging in independent research projects, including the opportunity to develop grant proposals if desired
The fellow will also have 2.5 days per week dedicated to clinical activities with our acute, transdiagnostic psychiatric population
This includes treating BHP patients on a multidisciplinary team, providing group therapy, and holding long-term outpatient cases
The fellow will also have the opportunity to provide supervision to a psychology trainee if desired
Postdoctoral fellows will hold BHP patients, outpatient cases, and lead BHP group therapy
Time for professional development activities (e.g., elective rotations across hospital) is also provided (8 hours per week)
The fellow is provided with one hour of individual research mentorship per week and two hours of individual clinical supervision per week
Mentors and supervisors hold academic appointments at Harvard Medical School and are licensed psychologists
The fellow also has the opportunity to provide peer supervision to a psychology trainee if in line with their training goals
Qualification
Required
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.)
