IPEX is one of the North American leading providers of advanced plastic piping systems, and they are seeking a National Account Manager – Retail USA. This role is responsible for managing and growing the company's footprint with National Home Center Accounts in the United States.

Responsibilities

Handle Day-to-day primary Sales Contact
Manage and grow the existing customer and prospect new opportunities
Lead PLR’s (Product Line Reviews) and proposals in terms of strategy, assortments and pricing. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
Assist US Retail Director in defining market/product growth opportunities and service infrastructure initiatives
Collect market and competitor intelligence
Develop sales budget, prepare/present customer business plans and reviews
Grow strategic account plans for each area of account responsibility
Learn and master in depth product knowledge and become the expert in this space
Ability to collaborate with demand planning and supply chain to develop forecasts for each area of account responsibility

Required

Bachelors degree in business or commerce or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing national DIY accounts and building supply dealers/hardware stores at the corporate level
Rough plumbing, electrical or other building product knowledge is an asset
Management experience will be an asset
Experience with sales tools – CRM, etc
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
Relationship builder, positive attitude, friendly, collaborative and responsive
Confident, self-starter, entrepreneurial
Critical thinker, problem solver, decision maker
Qualified risk taker with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
Value selling, negotiating
