Reliability Engineer I
AAON, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer I to support and execute reliability tests on HVAC components. The role involves conducting reliability tests, analyzing product performance, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance product development efficiency.

Responsibilities
Assist in completion of product qualification test plans, including functional, reliability, and durability testing
Conducts production reliability tests and methodologies to anticipate failures
Evaluates product performance, history, and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance
Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company, customer, and any governmental agency reliability objectives under the supervision of a senior Reliability Engineer
Conducts reliability analysis and works with the Reliability team to ensure the products designed can meet reliability specifications
Collaborates with the engineering team and seek opportunities to develop new/improve existing durability test methodology to enhance product development efficiency
Supports root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing and on returned products from the field
Reviews code and engineering standards
Qualification
Required
Four-year ABET accredited degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree in Applied Sciences
1-2 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry
Communicates effectively in written and spoken form
Strong interpersonal skills
Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities
Demonstrates excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Works effectively as a team member in a fast-paced environment
