Summer 2026 Social Media and Communications Intern
The Death Penalty Information Center (DPI) is seeking a Social Media and Communications Undergraduate Intern for summer 2026 to assist with the Center’s social media and communications work. The intern will help manage social media content, plan and create posts, and track engagement analytics across various platforms.

Responsibilities
Assisting DPI’s staff in day-to-day operations and management of social media content across multiple platforms
Assisting in the planning, creating, and posting of content for various social platforms
Aiding in tracking engagement analytics for social media and general media reach
Qualification
Required
Applicants should be detail-oriented and have a strong interest in the Center's work of serving the media and the public with analysis and information on issues concerning capital punishment
Should be familiar with Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Preferred
Familiarity with Canva is a plus
Social Sciences, Communications, Criminal Justice/Criminology, Pre-Law, Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, or Graphic Design (for Social Media Intern) other related field of study preferred
