Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution: Plan and manage commercial electrical projects from start to finish, including schedules, resources, and coordination with clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Project Financial Management: Take a lead role in managing project financials, including budgets, job cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability. Review cost reports regularly and make informed decisions to keep projects financially on track
Complex Project Oversight: Manage larger or more complex projects, identify risks early, and resolve issues related to scope, schedule, cost, or execution
Quality & Safety: Ensure all work meets company standards, industry requirements, and client expectations while maintaining compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
Team Leadership: Support and guide foremen, electricians, apprentices, and project staff. Assist with problem-solving and provide direction as needed
Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle and address concerns promptly
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and progress reports, and provide updates to leadership as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager managing commercial electrical projects
Journeyman Electrician license or higher required
Strong understanding of project financials, including job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and margin management
Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pre-hire and random drug screening
Preferred
PMP, PE, or similar certifications a plus
