Responsibilities
Develop and maintain custom macros using CATScript, VBScript, or Python to automate repetitive CAD tasks
Customize and optimize the CATIA V6 user interface and toolbars to meet project and team-specific requirements
Integrate CATIA V6 with PLM platforms like ENOVIA to ensure data consistency and effective lifecycle management
Work closely with design teams to identify workflow challenges and implement automation solutions
Create and update technical documentation for automation tools and processes
Provide training and technical support for engineers using custom macros and tools
Diagnose and resolve issues related to automated scripts, CAD modeling errors, and system integrations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Hands-on experience with CATIA V6, particularly in Part Design, Assembly, and Drafting modules
Proficiency in scripting languages such as CATScript, VBScript, or Python
Strong knowledge of parametric modeling, design automation, and knowledgeware concepts
Familiarity with PLM systems (experience with ENOVIA preferred)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry
Knowledge of CAA (Component Application Architecture) for advanced CATIA customizations
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
