Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal support to in-house and outside counsel on litigation, compliance, corporate governance and regulatory matters
Work collaboratively with Legal Operations team, other paralegals and internal business partners
Preserve and collect relevant information from a variety of sources for providing accurate and consistent discovery responses
Assist in reviewing and drafting discovery responses and other legal documents relating to transactions, claims, settlements, litigation, compliance and regulatory matters
Provide support to inside and outside counsel for significant events such as depositions, witness interviews, regulatory and court hearings and other special projects
Conduct research, collect and analyze data to help with decision-making and meeting of organizational goals
Administrative support of department as assigned
Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
5 or more years of related paralegal or legal support experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (or higher) with 3 or more years of related paralegal experience
Experience supporting attorneys in litigation, compliance, investigations, or corporate legal matters
Paralegal certification from one of the following: - NALA (CP/ACP) - An ABA approved paralegal program - Florida Registered Paralegal designation
