Responsibilities

Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external
Coordinate/develop & execute test plans
Performing tolerance analysis to ensure form/fit/function
Conduct root cause failure investigations and implement associated corrective actions
Develop & evaluate process improvements
Assist Product Development Team with new product designs to ensure manufacturability, validate process/technology
Developing manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment in support of our process work instructions and visual aids of our shop planning process and other functions that affect product performance
Managing all phases of project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate
The TE shall work with internal/external customers, and colleagues to ensure that the design meets the customer needs and see it through each phase of the engineering process (Design, Fabrication, and Implementation)
In addition, it is essential that this person have the ability to mentor less experienced engineers, work autonomously and in a team environment, adapt to processes and company policy while providing input or methods of process/design innovation

Required

Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering, Mathematical) with 2 years of experience OR Master's Degree in STEM with 0 years of experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret and PAR within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. US citizen required for clearance
Excellent time management skills for working within established production timelines and schedules
This position requires having the ability to communicate with various levels of leadership

Preferred

Active DOD Clearance and PAR
Composite experience and process knowledge
Direct Tool design experience of medium to large scale tooling
Direct Aerospace Tooling experience
