Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations, compliance, and payment processing analytics
Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, third-party APIs) and ensure data quality, consistency, and security
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver effective data visualizations
Support ETL processes, data modeling, and database management for operational and reporting needs
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards
Troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Document data flows, report logic, and maintain technical documentation in Confluence or similar tools
Participates in Agile project management using JIRA and contributes to sprint planning and delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
3–4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or database development
Proven experience with Power BI (dashboard/report development, DAX, Power Query)
Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and proficiency in SQL
Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes
Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and data security best practices
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative development environments
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
Background in payment processing, financial systems, or regulated industries
Familiarity with legacy data migration and modernization projects
Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting for data workflows
Experience working with third-party payment gateways, payment processing systems, fraud detection systems, and compliance frameworks
