Start in 2026 SummerKloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Finance/Accounting Intern to support their corporate finance and accounting departments. The intern will work with Excel for reporting and data analysis, assist in monthly reporting activities, and contribute to special finance/accounting projects.

Responsibilities
Working closely with the Manager or assigned staff member and completing all allocated tasks
Creating advanced spreadsheets and/or tools to support the department’s data analytics, cost savings and other initiatives
Support regular monthly reporting activities (close end, etc.)
Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, and various team projects
Updating documents and records
Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions
Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering final internship presentation to staff and other stakeholders
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled rising junior or senior (during internship program) and in good academic standing in an accredited college or university
Pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar
Strong self-motivation
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments
Superb interpersonal skills
A professional appearance
