The role involves planning and executing radiotherapy treatments while providing support to patients throughout their treatment process.

Responsibilities
Immobilize and simulate treatment fields provided by treatment planning and Radiation Oncologist instructions
Perform radiation treatments to patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of Radiation Oncologist
Prepares room and provides education to patients
Review and maintain patient charts and keep accurate patient records
Maintain continuing education requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Training in AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy
Radiologic Technologist Certification by the American Registry within acceptable date of hire
Proficient in the use of medical imaging equipment
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to empathize with patients while remaining professional
Preferred
Two years experience preferred. Will consider all levels
