Senior Principal System Training Engineer
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Training Engineer to provide Navy Fleet Engagement and training command and control expertise. The role involves developing training curriculum, conducting operator training, and supporting test and integration for a new program aimed at enhancing the Navy’s long range fires mission.

Responsibilities
Develop operator training curriculum, lesson plans, and videos
Conduct in-person operator training at numerous customer sites
Demonstrate system capabilities
Support Naval operators in CONOPs and CONEMPs development and assessing the utility of potential future enhancements to the system
Participate and sometimes lead Fleet Engagement. Collecting, organizing and adjudicating system feedback
Assist test and training engineers with the creation of data sets and scenarios that mimic real-world operations
Assist architects as they document the weapon-system with an integrated Digital Engineering Environment that includes Cameo (MBSE and requirements), ZephyrScale (test management), and Jira (Agile)
Engage with the Navy customer and stakeholders at Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), sprint demos, and formal reviews such as Design Reviews and Test Readiness Reviews
Contribute to a team of software and system integration & test engineers in accomplishing engineering tasks via an Agile iterative approach
Frequent Local and CONUS travel will be required to support training, testing and Fleet Engagements during exercises and other events
Qualification
Required
10+ years of command-and-control experience
Domain knowledge of US Navy Combat Systems
Weapons and Tactics Instructor
Experience working Long Range Kill Chain requirements and architectures
Experience in developing training plans and curriculum
Experience training operators in various environments in how to use software and systems
Experience working with DoD and non-DoD entities to validate and create Tactics, Techniques and Procedures
Experience in training mission execution within published doctrine and standardized Tactics, Techniques and Procedures
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS security clearance with SCI eligibility is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred

Experience working in Agile Scrum, using stories to plan, assign, and track work
