They are seeking a Financial Accounting Specialist to handle bank reconciliations, maintain general ledger reconciliations, process Accounts Payable tasks, and assist with financial audits and reporting.

Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly, bi-weekly or weekly basis
Maintain various general ledger reconciliations and enter journal entries
Process various Accounts Payable tasks, communicate with vendors and staff training
Credit Card and invoice review & final reconciliation
Pull bi-weekly payroll files, update global worksheet, and save quarterly 941's
Assist with external audit and annual tasks, such as 1099 assist, audit assist, unclaimed property, and partner on annual insurance process with Financial Accounting Manager
Assist Financial Accounting Manager with monthly financial closes using GAAP and the accrual basis of accounting
Communicate financial information to various stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors
Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Qualification
Required
Degree in Accounting or related experience
Must demonstrate strong computer skills while using a current version of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred
Experience with Sage, Intacct hosted property management software, Avid and other applications are a plus
