Responsibilities

Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
Identify, prospect, and close new customers within assigned markets
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
Build, maintain, and grow long-term client relationships
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Account Executives, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and high client satisfaction
Track, analyze, and report sales activity and performance using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and other CRM tools
Support marketing and outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and lead generation
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Educate clients on service offerings, terminology, features, and benefits
Manage client accounts in accordance with company policies and service standards
Provide support to other Business Development team members as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation
Proven ability to generate new business and close deals
Strong customer service mindset with a consultative sales approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using CRM and proposal tools
Willingness to travel locally and attend industry events

Preferred

Knowledge of hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations is a plus
