Responsibilities
The financial controller will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements, financial close processes, budgets, tax compliance issues, and forecasting
As the lead accountant, they will oversee accounting activities and ensure that ledgers accurately reflect money coming in and out of the company as well as maintain P&L documentation
The controller will work alongside the finance manager, department directors, and executive leadership team
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree
Successful Thrivers in this role have majored in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
We are looking for a driven financial controller that brings a positive attitude and high level of integrity and motivation to the team
We are raising the bar to execute financial operations through thorough reporting and statement analysis
An experienced finance leader will help guide financial decision making by performing accurate and timely accounting management to the company
Preferred
Team-first mentality
2-5 years experience as a financial controller or other relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, CPA license, or related accreditation
Think strategically and have that entrepreneurial mindset where you are not afraid to push the envelope
Data-driven and analytical. Always back up decisions with data
