Responsibilities
Support the re-platforming of a mission-critical Oracle-based software solution
Complete ongoing upgrade efforts such as Oracle Database upgrades from 12c to 19c
Perform Oracle Internet Directory (OID) upgrades
Migrate from Oracle Application Server to WebLogic 12c
Upgrade Oracle Forms and Reports from 10g to 12c
Eliminate legacy Java applet dependencies
Re-sign JAR files with Montgomery County certificates
Transition to an Oracle SSO solution integrated with Microsoft Entra ID
Work within a Linux environment and support upgrades aligned with Red Hat Enterprise Linux standards
Ensure all existing system interfaces continue to function seamlessly after upgrades
Qualification
Required
Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c)
Experience with Oracle Middleware (OAS, OID)
Experience with WebLogic (11/12)
Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports upgrades
Experience with Linux and shell scripting
Experience with Oracle Single Sign-On
Ability to work within a Linux environment
Ability to support upgrades aligned with Red Hat Enterprise Linux standards
