The Craneware Group is seeking a Revenue Cycle - CDM Consultant who will work directly with healthcare customers to improve revenue management processes, reduce denials, improve cash flow and net revenue, and reduce compliance risk. The role involves auditing coding and billing, performing coding to support customer needs, and assessing claims for accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

Auditing technical and professional services to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant coding and billing
Performing Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding to support customer needs
Reviewing CDM line items and supplies for accurate, compliant coding
Participating in revenue cycle and CDM assessments to complete engagements on time
Serving in a charge master (CDM Outsource) role to support customer operations
Assessing claims using Bill Analyzer to identify missed charges, billing errors, and compliance issues
Reviewing denied claims and writing appeals to secure correct reimbursement

Required

Bachelor's degree required
CPC, COC, or CCS certification
Strong knowledge of healthcare services, coding, billing, and regulatory requirements
Skilled in clinical data management and project coordination
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Craneware tools (Chargemaster Toolkit, Bill Analyzer)
Experience with financial/EMR systems such as EPIC, McKesson, Cerner, Meditech, Paragon, CPSI, GE, or Siemens
Committed to staying current with industry changes
Highly accountable, customer‑focused, and results‑driven
