Responsibilities

Lead SEO strategy across traditional search (Google/Bing) and LLM‑based search (AEO/GEO) to maximize discoverability and relevance
Optimize content architecture, metadata, structured data, and semantic models that influence how generative AI retrieves and ranks information
Use AEO‑focused tools such as Profound to drive insights, analytics, and strategic recommendations
Identify search gaps where competitors appear in LLM queries and create content or structural strategies to close those gaps
Partner with content, DevRel, product marketing, and engineering to ensure accurate and high‑quality technical content for developers
Build a modern SEO roadmap covering keyword intent, entity optimization, topic clusters, and AI‑assistant‑optimized content experiences
Measure impact across organic search, AI‑assistant results, and developer journey metrics
Provide continuous experimentation, testing, and performance insights across all discovery surfaces

Qualification

Required

Strong experience in SEO for technical or developer‑centric products, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or APIs
Hands‑on experience with AEO/GEO, LLM search optimization, and semantic/structured content strategies
Prior use of Profound or similar analytics tools for AI search insights and strategy planning
Understanding of how GenAI models surface information, including entity relevance, prompt‑driven ranking, and knowledge‑graph‑based optimization
Ability to design and execute experiments improving content retrieval and ranking across both traditional and AI‑driven search
Exceptional analytical skills with comfort evaluating organic performance, content opportunities, and competitive landscapes
Strong partnership skills—capable of working closely with developers, technical writers, DevRel, and marketing teams
Experience working with or learning from world‑class SEO/AEO organizations (e.g., Stripe has many strong practitioners)
