Responsibilities

Develop and release chassis components for truck and SUV programs from concept through production
Create and manage 3D CAD data, drawings, technical documentation, and parts lists based on design changes or cross-functional requests
Support regulatory and certification confirmation activities for assigned components
Lead and support communication between design, supplier, and project management teams
Monitor field quality and warranty performance for chassis components, including leading root cause investigations and corrective actions
Support benchmarking activities and evaluate cost reduction proposals with suppliers, making recommendations for implementation

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer or equivalent technical role
Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Hands-on experience with CATIA
Ability to work up to 20% overtime during peak project periods
Ability to work in the office Monday through Thursday

Preferred

Experience in chassis design and vehicle development
designing chassis components: 5 years
using CATIA for production design: 5 years
creating 3D CAD and drawings: 5 years
releasing parts for production vehicles: 3 years
supporting truck or SUV programs: 3 years
working with automotive suppliers: 3 years
performing root cause investigations: 2 years
supporting regulatory confirmation: 2 years
leading cross-functional coordination: 3 years
evaluating cost reduction proposals: 2 years
