They are looking for a Managing Clerk to join its Managing Attorney/Clerk's Office, responsible for managing daily department operations and ensuring compliance with court procedures.

Responsibilities
Manage daily department operations and ensure efficient, accurate completion of tasks, including regular check-ins with staff
Oversee docketing and calendaring systems , ensuring deadlines, court appearances, and case data are properly recorded and communicated
Ensure compliance with court procedures , advise on state and federal filing practices, and coordinate legal services with external vendors
Train, mentor, and supervise staff , including hiring recommendations, performance management, and development of training programs
Maintain relationships with court personnel and vendors , acting as liaison to facilitate filings, document retrieval, and service of process
Collaborate with leadership (Managing Attorney, General Counsel, COO) on risk mitigation, software troubleshooting, and strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in a Managing Attorney's/Clerk's office at a large law firm, with strong supervisory and litigation workflow expertise
Expert knowledge of court rules and e-filing systems, including CM/ECF, PACER, and various state platforms
Proficient in docketing and case management tools like CourtAlert, Milana, and Compulaw, plus familiarity with third-party legal vendors
Skilled in legal research and data retrieval, with high accuracy and attention to detail across all work activities
Strong communication and organizational skills, with a flexible, resourceful approach to managing competing deadlines
