Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all aspects of regulatory case filings and reports, including evaluation, preparation, and processing. Direct teams composed of individuals from multiple internal departments across the Entergy organization to ensure successful management of case filings. Must be able to set out Entergy Texas’ positions on specific case issues. The ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously in an effective manner is essential
Review all regulatory agency submission materials to ensure timeliness, accuracy, comprehensiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards. These materials include testimony, exhibits, and discovery responses. Maintain compliance with case procedural schedules
Formulate or implement regulatory affairs policies and procedures to ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained or enhanced. Communicate regulatory information to multiple internal departments and ensure that information is interpreted correctly. Provide regulatory guidance to internal departments and/or development project teams regarding design, development, evaluation, or marketing of products
Responsible for contributing to the development of regulatory strategy for Entergy Texas. Must have in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory laws, rules, policies, and procedures
Represent the Regulatory Affairs department before PUCT staff, intervening parties in regulatory proceedings, and regulatory commissions/authorities; interface with internal and external stakeholders. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Prepare and sponsor testimony to governmental or regulatory authorities in support of regulatory case filings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field or equivalent work experience
7+ years of professional experience required
5+ years of previous regulatory affairs related experience is highly preferred
Previous experience working with an Electric Utility is preferred
Must be able to set out Entergy Texas' positions on specific case issues
The ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously in an effective manner is essential
Must have in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory laws, rules, policies, and procedures
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
5+ years of previous regulatory affairs related experience is highly preferred
