Responsibilities
Establish and maintain the program’s security posture, ensuring full compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and customer-specific security requirements
Managing all aspects of personnel security clearances, access control systems, secure facility operations, and classified material handling procedures
Lead a security team responsible for day-to-day security operations
Conducting regular security briefings and debriefings
Managing visitor control processes
Overseeing the proper marking, handling, storage, and destruction of classified materials
Serve as the primary liaison with government security officers, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and other oversight authorities
Managing all personnel security actions including initial clearance processing, periodic reinvestigations, clearance upgrades, foreign travel requests, and adverse information reporting
Maintain current knowledge of security regulations and ensure the security team and program personnel remain compliant with all applicable requirements
Conducting security risk assessments
Developing and delivering security training programs
Investigating security incidents and violations
Maintaining security documentation and records
Participating in government security inspections and audits
Preparing and submitting required security reports
Managing security budgets and resources
Ensuring business continuity through effective security planning
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7-10 years of security management experience in government contracting or military/intelligence community environments
Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Comprehensive knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, and DOD security regulations
Proven experience managing security teams and personnel
Strong understanding of Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) requirements
Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with government security personnel and oversight authorities
Preferred
Experience with specific customer security requirements relevant to this program
Background as a government security officer or military security manager
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
