Responsibilities
Managing and supporting customer‑facing network devices such as cable modems, routers, and fiber CPE used across our clients production network
Overseeing device firmware updates
Validating new devices before launch
Troubleshooting performance or outage issues
Working closely with vendors and internal engineering teams to resolve problems quickly and with minimal customer impact
Supporting the full lifecycle of device deployment
Maintaining Linux‑based systems and monitoring tools
Analyzing data to diagnose issues
Participating in on‑call support to ensure network reliability
Qualification
Required
AWS
Linux
Python, Shell, Bash, Perl, etc
Knowledge of CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) or knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, and DNS (focus on layers 1-4 of the OSI Model)
