Repair Technician

Responsibilities

Assist with inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components and assemblies
Perform basic mechanical repairs under supervision
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and correctly
Document work performed in maintenance records and repair logs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Support senior technicians and supervisors as assigned

Required

High school diploma or GED
Basic mechanical aptitude or technical training
Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to lift up to 45lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred

Enrollment in or completion of an A&P or aerospace technical program
Prior hands-on experience (internship, school lab, military, or automotive/mechanical work)
Familiarity with FAA regulations or aerospace quality systems
