Responsibilities

Support eBilling operations, including invoice submission, review, approval workflows, and payment processes
Administer and optimize the Legal Tracker platform, including user management, matter configuration, billing rules, and reporting
Review and audit invoices for compliance with billing guidelines, rate structures, etc
Generate and analyze legal spend reports, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc metrics to support strategic decision-making
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and process documentation related to Legal Tracker and eBilling programs
Assist with outside counsel onboarding, training, and ongoing compliance with eBilling requirements

Required

4–6 years of hands-on legal operations experience, with a strong focus on eBilling process management
Proven experience administering and managing Legal Tracker (required)
Strong understanding of law firm billing practices, rate structures, AFAs, and invoice review standards
Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams
Advanced reporting and data analysis skills related to legal spend and matter management
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across internal business units, executive leadership, external partners, and cross-functional teams
Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model

Preferred

Prior experience supporting an in-house legal department at a technology company
