LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

They are seeking a Landscape Designer to support the planning, design, and documentation of landscape and site projects across various assignments, translating client goals and environmental factors into innovative outdoor design solutions.

Responsibilities
Prepare landscape design concepts, site plans, planting plans, and hardscape layouts using CAD and other design tools
Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies — including evaluation of soils, topography, drainage and existing vegetation — to inform design decisions
Develop detailed construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules consistent with project requirements and standards
Coordinate design work with internal disciplines (engineering, architecture, environmental planning) and external partners to integrate landscape solutions
Communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders through presentations, visualizations, and narrative reports
Assist with project coordination, submittals, and revisions based on client feedback or regulatory reviews
Apply sustainable and resilient landscape practices aligned with environmental standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain project records, documentation, and maintain quality assurance in design deliverables
Execute work in accordance with internal quality procedures, applicable codes, legislation, and industry standards to ensure project compliance and technical excellence
Actively pursue continuous learning opportunities to maintain a high degree of technical knowledge and professional competency in structural engineering
Promote and maintain a culture of safety by working in a safe manner at all times and promptly reporting all health and safety incidents or concerns
Perform additional tasks as required to support project goals, team objectives, and company initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, Landscape Design, Environmental Design, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in landscape design, site planning, or related disciplines
Proficiency with landscape design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
Strong understanding of plant materials, hardscape materials, sustainable landscape practices, and construction techniques
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in an Engineering and/or Architectural/Engineering consulting firm
Proficiency in Revit, and good knowledge of industry software, including Microsoft Office Suite
Active and clear driver's license, including a successful clearance of a Motor Vehicle history check
