Responsibilities

Perform the analysis, structuring, and strategic assessment of customer wholesale energy sales opportunities to provide incremental EBIT for regulated operations. Manage/develop existing wholesale customer rate projections, load forecasting, and wholesale origination book for strategic and operational company requirements
Perform the analysis and structuring of wholesale purchases via Request For Proposals (RFP) and other corporate activities to procure purchase power contracts and generation acquisitions to serve retail and wholesale load obligations
Perform the analysis and structuring of renewable generation procurement including purchase power, self build, and project acquisitions to meet renewable portfolio standards, qualifying facilities , and corporate strategic initiatives
Support Integrated Resource Planning activities including self build generation economic analysis, revenue requirements development, and wholesale and renewable activity modeling

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Engineering
In addition to bachelor's degree, three (3) years minimum of related work experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering
In addition to bachelor's degree, five (5) years minimum of related work experience

Preferred

Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and financial evaluation skills
Understanding of regulated utility financial operations including rate making, capital and cost recovery
Resource planning and system production costing
Wholesale customer financial analysis
Financial modeling or energy modeling experience
Energy industry trading and marketing experience
