Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 4-6 product data analytics professionals, creating processes for autonomous operation with cross-functional teams while maintaining high quality standards and accountability and supporting individual growth
Drive technical strategy for self-service analytics, using self-service as a force multiplier that allows your team to execute on higher value analyses and tool building
Help redevelop our experimentation strategy by increasing rigor across the organization and partnering with product and engineering to help define standards for eventing, cohorting, analytics, etc
Foster strong working relationships with other leaders at the company, advocating for your team’s involvement at the right time and driving high quality analytics delivery across teams
Address problems with performance directly and make decisions based on what's best for our users, team members, and business. Create highly functional teams and processes that make best use of data analytics resources
Own ambitious yet achievable quarterly roadmaps that drive our business forward by building tooling that allows the team to deliver faster, more consistent work and directing cross-team analytics efforts that inform strategy
Be accountable for making, measuring, and delivering on team commitments, as well as pivoting when necessary to keep the team focused on the most impactful work
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise in data analytics and a strong understanding of data systems and processes, especially delivery of scalable, repeatable self service analytics
5+ years of experience managing data analytics professionals
Successfully led a team of embedded professionals and know how to cultivate a culture of autonomy within cross-functional teams
Expert experience in experimentation analytics and are excited to help guide systematic approaches to experimentation design, implementation, and assessment across the company
Focused on making sure that analytics tools are accurate, complete, and timely
Can tailor management style to suit employees, identifying where some people might succeed with a more hands-off approach than others
Excel at stakeholder management and can build effective relationships across the organization
Demand proactive involvement from your team

Excited by hard problems and big challenges
Preferred
Experience in fintech, banking, or finance is a plus
