Quantum error correction and architecture intern
Logiqal is on a mission to build the first scaled quantum computer, deploying millions of qubits to tackle the world’s most important problems. As a QEC/architecture intern, you will work with the QEC and software team to develop tools for fault-tolerant computing, contributing to quantum error correction efforts that may lead to publication.
Computer Hardware
Responsibilities
Work directly with our QEC and software team to develop new tools for fault-tolerant computing with neutral atoms
Intern projects are expected to be technically substantial, directly contributing to our approach to quantum error correction and having the potential to result in a publication
Qualification
Required
Experience in physics, computer science, applied math, and related fields
Analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to design, build, debug, and iterate quickly
Working in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
Quantum error correction
Stim simulations
Writing decoders
Fault-tolerant quantum compilation
Optimizing quantum circuits for specific qubit hardware
Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to solve problems inspired by real hardware
Benefits
Additional housing stipend if you are relocating to the Princeton area
