Sales Manager ESS - Germany (d/f/m)

Responsibilities

Contribute to regional sales and marketing strategies for ESS in Germany
Actively manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities for ESS solutions
Own end-to-end sales activities for assigned customers, including commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and after-sales coordination
Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers regarding ESS offerings
Collect and analyse market intelligence (competitors, pricing, regulations, customer needs) related to energy storage
Support brand positioning and market presence for ESS solutions through customer engagement and industry activities
Coordinate closely with presales, engineering, logistics, operations, and service teams to ensure accurate solution design, smooth order execution, and high customer satisfaction

Required

Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the PV and/or ESS industry
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Solid understanding of PV and energy storage market dynamics and policies in Germany
Existing customer network in the region is a strong advantage
German: C2 (near native proficiency); English: C1 (professional working proficiency)
Strong commercial and negotiation skills across complex technical solutions
Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build long-term partnerships
Self-driven, accountable, and results-oriented
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrix organisation
