The Security Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security protocols, overseeing security operations, and managing personnel security compliance.

Responsibilities
Establish and maintain the program’s security posture, ensuring full compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and customer-specific security requirements
Manage all aspects of personnel security clearances, access control systems, secure facility operations, and classified material handling procedures
Lead a security team responsible for day-to-day security operations, conducting regular security briefings and debriefings, managing visitor control processes, and overseeing the proper marking, handling, storage, and destruction of classified materials
Serve as the primary liaison with government security officers, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and other oversight authorities
Manage all personnel security actions including initial clearance processing, periodic reinvestigations, clearance upgrades, foreign travel requests, and adverse information reporting
Maintain current knowledge of security regulations and ensure the security team and program personnel remain compliant with all applicable requirements
Conduct security risk assessments, developing and delivering security training programs, investigating security incidents and violations, maintaining security documentation and records, and participating in government security inspections and audits
Prepare and submit required security reports, manage security budgets and resources, and ensure business continuity through effective security planning
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7-10 years of security management experience in government contracting or military/intelligence community environments
Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Comprehensive knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, and DOD security regulations
Proven experience managing security teams and personnel
Strong understanding of Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) requirements
Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with government security personnel and oversight authorities
Preferred
Experience with specific customer security requirements relevant to this program
Background as a government security officer or military security manager
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
