Activities Director
Miller's Health Systems is a 100% employee-owned company providing compassionate care since 1964. The Director of Life Enrichment is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing activities to enhance patient satisfaction and overseeing life enrichment staff.

Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and direct a wide variety of activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility
Oversee and mentor other life enrichment staff
Be a member of the multi-disciplinary care planning team
Document activity plans and participation in the patient record in accordance with company policy and the State and Federal regulations governing those services
Transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility
Qualification
Required
Are a qualified Activity Director for the State of Indiana or have previous experience in healthcare Activities
Have good organizational and communication skills
Are passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Are professional in appearance and behavior
Able to work with a dedicated team
Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training. Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
Eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activities professional by a recognized accrediting body
Must have/obtain Commercial Driver's license or Chauffers License as required
Work day, evening, and weekend shifts as required
Ability to work well with other members of the Interdisciplinary Team
Preferred
Have previous supervisory experience
Experience in a social or recreational program within the last five (5) years
