Responsibilities
Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications in EE-related technologies, including semiconductor devices, chip architecture, and integrated circuits
Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and landscape analyses to support client counseling and IP strategy
Collaborate directly with clients, inventors, and in-house teams to understand innovations and align patent strategy with business goals
Draft and respond to Office Actions, manage prosecution matters, and maintain a disciplined docket
Partner with attorneys, agents, and support staff to ensure high-quality work product and efficient workflow
Contribute to long-term portfolio development and protection through practical, business-minded recommendations
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of patent prosecution experience (law firm and/or in-house)
Active bar membership (good standing) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
USPTO registration required
