Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 3D SolidWorks models and 2D production drawings in accordance with industry standards
Create accurate technical drawings that support manufacturing processes from concept to completion
Review and revise CAD files and drawings for accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to clarify design intent and resolve issues
Maintain current, organized design documentation
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions
Ensure all designs meet industry standards and manufacturing requirements
Maintain excellent attention to detail and organizational skills while managing multiple projects
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of verifiable SolidWorks experience in a manufacturing or design environment
Must be able to pass a SolidWorks proficiency test during the interview process
Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling and 2D drafting
Ability to read blueprints, engineering schematics, and use precision measuring instruments
Strong working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
Effective communication and teamwork skills
English language proficiency required
Preferred
More than 2 years of SolidWorks experience
Associate's degree in drafting, engineering technology, or related field
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is a plus
Steel fabrication experience preferred
Piping and manufacturing backgrounds also acceptable
