Metasys Technologies is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for an office-based role. The coordinator will support accurate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation of inventory activity, performing tasks such as data entry, inventory system updates, and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate data entry and maintenance of all inventory product movement
Update inventory systems (including Oracle) daily to track location, transfers, disposals, and MRB processing
Monitor, scrub, and reconcile weekly/monthly inventory reports; investigate and resolve variances
Plan and perform cycle counts, location audits, expired product processing, and support quarterly/annual physical inventories (prep, audit, count, reconcile)
Process completed MRB items, including stock handling, system transfers/updates, and product consolidation
Respond to inquiries regarding inventory availability and open order status; monitor personal and department emails
Ensure paperwork, system updates, filing, and record retention comply with document retention rules
Communicate inventory issues and areas of concern to management; update issue logs
Support Lean/5S activities and meet productivity/quality standards
Perform other assigned duties

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong data entry skills; basic spreadsheet proficiency
Proficient in MS Business Suite; Oracle experience a plus
Ability to multitask, interpret instructions, and prepare/provide basic to diversified information
Effective written and verbal communication; customer service and teamwork skills
Basic problem-solving skills; ability to interact professionally at all levels
Office environment; mostly sedentary with walking, standing, bending, reaching
Ability to lift/carry items typically under 10–60 lbs as required
Moderate dexterity using calculator, keyboard, and basic office tools

Inventory control experience preferred
